 Completed in 1999 and 2000, these 168-unit apartments, were two older apartment complexes combined into a single project and redeveloped over a two-year period. The scope of work included complete capital item replacement, including new electrical and plumbing, new unit interiors, utility upgrade and refinished common areas. Substantial landscaping was used to unify the two properties, which allowed for the realization of operating efficiences and the addition of expanded resident amenities. The combination of the two complexes, along with the introduction of a new management company resulted in a successful overall project. Financing was provided by a DCHFA Tax Exempt Bond Issue.
