Patriot Realty identified and acquired the air-rights to build one of the largest mixed use projects in Wheaton Maryland. Patriot oversaw all aspects of the entitlement process including site engineering, architecture and governmental approvals. Upon entitlement, Patriot teamed with Foulger Pratt and Prudential Real Estate to construct the luxury 486-unit high rise multifamily property located on the Metro in the Wheaton Central Business District in Montgomery County, Maryland. The 17-story building was completed in January 2014 and includes a 58,000 sf. Safeway grocery store, Bergman’s drycleaner and Starbucks coffee on the ground floor with direct access to Metro across the street. The site is in downtown Wheaton within two blocks of the 2 million sf. Westfield’s regional mall and numerous restaurants. The project is be LEED Certified and Patriot Realty provided development management services throughout construction. Patriot Realty is Co-General Partner for the completed project.
