Patriot Realty acquired, renovated and repositioned this 224 unit multifamily property in Washington, DC in 1998. The total renovation encompassed a replacement of all capital items including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. The unit interiors, windows and common areas were also upgraded. Patriot Realty managed all aspects of the acquisition, renovation and market repositioning and in 2001 received the DCHFA Award of Excellence for Affordable Housing Development. Following the renovation, Patriot acts as Co-General Partner in addition to providing property management services. The complete renovation was accomplished by utilizing DCHFA Tax Exempt Bonds and Tax Credit Equity.
